I really enjoyed this book both Ann and Violet had so much to overcome from their past in order to move on. I liked when each got over their reservations about being together and finally asked the other what they wanted. Also loved the action and wondering what was going to happen next.

I am just in love with this book. When I was in my teens, I remember the romance novels that we all devoured. There would be action and adventure and the two main characters would fall in love.
This book is just that, with the exception that it is two women falling in love amidst the chaos aboard a pirate ship.

I liked it very much on first reading, and it's just as good on second reading: maybe the best pirate story I've ever read!
