Incredibly glad we are this far into the COVID pandemic when I read this book. This was not a book for 2020.
Very readable and hard to put down. I read it with my partner and we both finished it in a matter of days. No small feat for me as I listened to it on audio and practically unheard of for him who only reads about 12 books a year. It's told in a stream of consciousness style he related to Kurt Vonnegut so you can sit down to read for a few minutes and suddenly 50 pages have gone by.

Making one of the primary characters of your novel a participant* in child sex trafficking is a pretty bold move. It's even bolder when you're Margaret Atwood. This is a dystopia to end all dystopias and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy this year.
