This story wrapped up with a beautiful ending, and nothing that ends well can be discounted. This story was like a peaceful river, winding it's way through the family story as told by Reuben. It slowed a bit too much in spots for my taste, but always picked back up again. The characters were wonderful and Reuben was an honest narrator.
