I LOVE VAMPIRE ACADEMY. So so so much.
I first read the book in 2008. I was hooked instantly. This book is written in a simple way. It's one of the books that doesn't need fancy words because it's exciting in itself.

Rose Hathaway being boumd to Lissa or Vasilisa Dragomir is something that has not happened in centuries! Her best friend means everything to her, until someone else meant more. Many people will look at my 5 star rating for these books and involuntarily produce a mental eye roll. There is no denying the fact that vampire novels are a fad right now but that doesn't mean there are no longer people who have always taken a liking to fantasy stories. Absolutely my favorate book series of all time. When you mix Rose a powerful independant teenager that can kick ass too and Dimitri a silent but gorgeous mentor that is 7 years older than Rose. and you got a love story that rivals all.
The very first step into the series, and I was hooked to read the entire book in less than a day! So fantastic, I just couldn't put it down. Travel the world as the shadowkissed Rose, and share a bond with not only Lissa but with the rest of the students and guardians at the academy.

it was a cool read it reminded me a little of the house of night only for there controlling the 4 element's and the vampires but thats about it there to different but rely enjoyable series

Vampire Academy is a hot series to read and hard to resist, when it comes to reading.
