Holy cow, what an adventure they had. I loved it and it leaned more toward a 4 for me, but I had to give it a 5 on principle. The tension between Rose and Dimitri throughout the entire story was intense and the adventures and people they encountered were amazing. I want a story about the Keepers and one about Jill now.

Well, I have had this book since it was released and as much as I wanted to read it, I was putting it off b/c I did not want to see the series end. I have loved reading this series. One of the best out there. Rose is a fantastic character. She has gone through so much and even though she is only 18 she grew as a character. Now does that mean she was mature and well-rounded? NO WAY!! But, that is what I love about her.

Mead has done it yet again. Last Sacrifice was everything that I was expecting to complete this series and more. Rose's surprising charges that concluded Spirit Bound has had readers on the edge of their seats for months. This novel will pick up right where Spirit Bound left off, and not only is Rose needing to find a way to clear her name. I thought this book was beautifully written. Richelle Mead has always brought such excellence in each of the vampire academy books. The Last Sacrifice ended the series perfectly.
I admit I was racked with nerves before I started this book because I wasn't sure how Richelle would end it. No words. I just LOVE this series!!! Absolutely love! I am so happy Dimitri and Rose got back together. :sniff: lol. I was very slightly dissappointed in a few areas though. What happend to Sidney? What was this big secret with her and Abe? What happened to Tasha? Was she executed? How did it go with Jill and Lissa's new sisterhood? It played the idea that she was going to have to be sent away for security reasons, because if something happened to her, Lissa would lose the crown. ...more

i think that this was richelle mead's best book yet. i mean the storry line was perfect, it made me laugh and cry,, the only thing i didnt like was how i didnt like how she made adrian all rude towards rose at the end, ya i expected him to be heartbroken but saying stuff likethat to her? its just not how i saw him.... and that kinda made me mad, either than that, it was great!

A good ending to the Vampire Academy series. I believe that the author wrapped up the loose ends quite well, although I would have liked to see Adrian happy in the end.
