Some fun thinking here, but the execution just grated.
I wanted to like this. Jasper Fforde has been on my list of UK authors to read for a while, but there was always something else on the pile. The metafictional universe that Thursday Next inhabits is a whacky at-right-angles world that is nearly, but not quite the same one that we live in. First time rereading in six years and what an excellent time to do so - June 2016 (if you read the book, you'll get the date). The book is still amazing. One day I need to read the second one in the series.
