What Members Thought
Space marines are always a bit silly, but I'm a sucker for silliness so I didn't mind. The main problem was that the main character was a bit of a Marty Stu (male equivalent to Mary Sue) and it was hard to connect with him or, frankly, any of the characters in the book. Still, the world-building is interesting and the premise is creative. I'd classify it as an enjoyable read that doesn't quite live up to its potential. I have the sequel in my queue and hopefully it will be better.
