Words to explain how much I loved this book. FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC! AWESOMENESS!GLORIOUS! MY SHIZNIT!(totally not a word, but I'm using it!)

This book was like turning on the radio(I never do, Houston radio sucks) and hearing a song you really like and then saying, "Oh man! This is my JAM!!" description

This story takes place in a dystopian future here on earth. The "real world" is so miserable to some, that they escape into a virtual world that has been created, called the OASIS. When the creator of this virtual world dies, he leaves behind all of his fortune to whomever can find the "Easter Egg" he has hidden somewhere inside the OASIS. There are many keys to find and gates to discover in order to be the victor...The race is on, and it is quite a ride. I love the virtual world that is created ...more

It's been a while since I enjoyed a book as much as I loved this one. A friend recommended it to me because I'm a nerd who loves old movies, retro and contemporary gaming, and a good comic book. If any of your interests fall into those categories chances are that Ready Player One will be right up your alley.
