Not bad, I really enjoyed reading it. Easy and quick to read and the story was engaging. I didn't really like the random sex scene though it was important but the author didn't need to make it so graphic, it broke the flow of the story as did a few other small spots. The ending was a bit anti-climatic, whereas in the movie it's almost a bit over the top, This ending was more believe-able but at the same time kind of a let down too.

I like fairy tales and magical things, so I liked this book. If you've seen the movie, you have a good idea about the story. what surprised me, though, is a sense of sincerity and sweetness in the characters among their not surprising acerbic wit.
