Audiobook review. Narrator: Jonathan Davis
I enjoyed the story for the most part. As a computer programmer, I could understand the tech details but I'm sure those parts would get boring for non-techies. I thought it interesting how religion is described as a virus. And as interesting as the universe is, it's not a future I'd want to live in.

Like the previous book I read by this author, I can see that he is technically a good writer and he is surely imaginative, but there is just something about the stories he chooses to tell that fail to interest me. With this one the part that annoyed me the most was that he set the story in the very near future, I believe it is meant to be the 1990's, yet he makes all of life so far out there as far as societal changes go that it is utterly impossible that life would have changed into anything ap
