This is not the beginning but the beginning's end
I have been reflecting over the past year, 2013, and I have wasted a whole year on lousy reads. There were some good, some really bad but nothing really stayed with me like I think Gunslinger will.

An outstanding beginning to a promising series. I know, I know.. I am coming to the party late.. forgive me. It is a hard book/series to describe.. kind of a mix of western, high fantasy, science fiction, apocalyptic fiction, multi world, other dimension, time travel, and horror. Pretty much everything I enjoy reading about. What intrigues me most is that it ties most of King's body of work together into some sort of connectedness.
