This was a reread, and this is still one of my favorite Alex Benedict books. The mystery is excellent and not fully resolved until the end. The action is good but not repetitive as in some of the books. I do have a hard time with how often crime takes place even though the current civilization seems to be totally shocked and surprised by it. If it happens so seldom, then why does it keep happening to these characters so frequently? LOL!
