A wild ride this one. My first Haldeman, and this book managed to work for me despite it feeling like a lot thrown together. Parts of this are especially impressive given when it was written.


Will definitely be reading more!

Not sure. I didn't like it as much as Forever War. But I need to think on it some more. Amazing though, how it could have been written today. Things just don't change so much, do they?? ...more
