This series is just fantastic.
At times I lose the plot just a touch, I think mostly due to reading as audiobook I get lost in the sea of proper nouns. But when it’s good it’s so good- I could read Miles negotiating forever.
I also quite liked the beginning section which was originally a novella - often times these feel less seamless but I love the way Bujold turned it into a novel.
