I had to force myself to finish this, just in case the ending would somehow bring it all together and make into the amazing book that it's supposed to be. It didn't.

I’ve only read one postapocalyptic book before this, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. McCarthy pulled me into the story from the first page. I started it one evening and I stayed up until 2 AM to finish it. It was super easy reading and un-put-downable!
