Well, Mr.Sanderson, you have done it again. I have cried, laughed, cheered and yelled throughout this entire book. I need sleep....I have a fucking headache from my emotions being pulled back and forth the last 13 hours.

After discovering Sanderson through his young adult books, I knew I had to read Mistborn. The people I had met at a signing were quite excited about it but didn't want to spoil anything. I was immediately swept up into the world, the characters, and the incredible system of magic that Sanderson created in this fantastic novel. Mistborn: The Final Empire is about revolution, an oppressed people in a medieval land oppressed by nobles and the decision of a few charismatic character to act against their main oppressor: A living God. The book contains a magic system very well thought, with details about several sides of its use. The book impress by the wits and planning of how to overthrow a god, all might and powerful. Wanted to get into Brandon Sanderson but the sheet length of the more epic Stormlight Archive always thwarted my will to read that volume. However, a colleague recommended a shorter piece of work by the same author so I delved in to understand his style.
