Real rating: 3.5 (I wish there is a .5 rating in Goodreads).
This is my second audiobook! (I have to tell you that I am just so excited of the concept of me "reading" really quickly). Anyway, this is a dystopian drama. I have mistakenly thought, based on the title, that this is an SF book.

I love the way the lives of the characters intertwine so closely both before and after the pandemic. A very satisfying read.

I'm late to the party on this one, but I did end up really enjoying - despite the fact that the first time I attempted to read it four or so years ago... it for some reason annoyed me. (An excess of dystopian fiction?) Well, this feels like The Stand mashed up with A Visit from the Goon Squad in a dark lyric. I also love it when SciFi/Fantasy gets nommed for serious prizes like the National Book Award, so happy kudos there.
