I liked what I read of this...but like has been said before -- it's a sloooooow burn. I had to put it down after the first section to take a trip and when I tried to pick it back up it held absolutely no interest for me. I want to finish it and check out the other books in the series, but I might try to do so further down the road. What I did read of it would be a solid 4-stars based on the strength of the world and character building. ...more
