I really love this book. It's fill with all sorts of crazy animals like liobams and mo'hairs. This book is every bit as impressive as Oryx and Crake, and I hope the third Maddaddam book is equally good.

I found the background more fascinating than the characters: a chilling look at where market fundamentalism is leading us, if we continue to let it.
It was strange going from book 1 to book 2 because they are so different. Good but different.
Atwood is a beautiful writer; a master at weaving the past and present of her chadacters. But most importantly this book has an engaging plot to house her written talents
No contemporary author combines the commonplace with the bizarre to create dystopias that are both fantastic and totally believable like Atwood, and this is her best novel in years. Highly recommended.
