What Members Thought

This first book is such a memorable and phenomenally funny masterpiece that as each scene started I could pretty much recall the end of it. Each sequel is progressively less so, but since the series is starting from such a high point, that's hardly a dismissal.
Best in small doses, I think trying to read more than one book in a row and the gleefully juvenile language and very dry, very British humour might get tired. Space them out though, and they're a great intermezzo to any more serious readin ...more
