Finished my re-read Feb. 26, 2013... cried again, it always seems to get me. I really enjoy this book, but I can see how it could come off as 'boring' to others.

It kind of reminds me (in a way) of the old Dennis Quaid movie Enemy Mine. I like that movie, so go figure.

If you like aliens (body snatching kind- but in a more peaceful way) more introspective... almost an experiment in discrimination and finding compassion and sympathy for the aliens as well as the humans, and a little romance to boot ...more

I love the story!!!! I just think it took too long for somethings to happen. Not that I don't love the suspense, but it was getting a little too lengthy in between major events. I can't wait to see how they manage all of that inner dialogue in the movie. ...more

Some parts were so slow, but Stephenie has a way of holding your interest that you keep reading. I'm glad I did. It's very different from the Twilight series. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next. ...more
