What Members Thought
This turned out to be a lot meatier than I was expecting. Laurie's writing contains a lot of dry wit, and this was rife in the first half of the book as the story slowly unfolded. The plot really takes off during the second half with a healthy dosage of spy intrigue and alternate identities, and becomes a little convoluted by the end. I confess that it was a little confusing to keep track of who was working for who by the time the climax arrived, but the book was so much fun that I didn't mind t
