Generally, when I hear "the perfect beach read!" I roll my eyes and move along. I hate superficial books like the Shopaholic series and Gossip Girl - not because they're superficial, necessarily, but because everyone in the damn books is SUCH AN ASSHOLE.

Now, let's be honest here, I would have read this book regardless, because I love Go Fug Yourself and Heather and Jessica. (Insert brief aside about back in the days of yore on the internet where we all knew everyone and snarked the good snark o

I figured that I would like this book based on the amusing pieces that I've read in the past by Cocks and Morgan, but this book exceeded my expectations. Both laugh out loud funny and emotional. Filled with characters that feel real, with conflicts that are just as real. The issues that have to be worked out in this book are serious and handled perfectly. No one forgives to easily but it makes sense that when the breaking point comes everything falls into place. Everyone should read this!

I loved this book. I thought the characters were a lot of fun, and I loved the style. And I admit that it made me feel like one of the In Crowd to get it when Heather and Jessica slid in a comment about jumpsuits or other fashion disasters. I got a little weepy at one point towards the end, too.

Looking forward to the sequel!

Loved it! The relationship between the sisters was awesome. I like that that was the focus of the book more than any romantic relationships. Plus there were several things that made me laugh out loud...mostly stuff from Brick Berlin.
