I've always enjoyed PKD's sense of humor, but this one had me literally laughing out loud.
It's a strange book. It's somewhat disjointed, but the world building is nonetheless fascinating. And the ideas . . . There are so many of them. My favorite might be the depiction of the afterlife in this book. Or maybe it's the handicapped villain who has visions when he drinks a beer. This book isn't perfect, but as the blurb quoted on the back says, somehow it's a masterpiece. And if you don't agree, wel ...more
