I haven't really had the chance to try the book but, I did get the graphic novel because I kept hearing the great reviews of it and everything! This graphic novel the illustrations and the story are amazing, your interest is kept and the story is blunt and great! I think the message is correctly portrayed and the detail that goes into he novel is incredible! I can't recommend this enough! ...more

Wow! This graphic novel format is the perfect way to experience this amazing piece of writing by Margaret Atwood. It has the same attention to eye catching detail that the Hulu series achieves, which encapsulates the atrocities and yet somehow makes it beautiful and heartbreaking. The graphic novel stays true to the original novel in which the words alone are tragic but without the imagery the story just doesn't have the same major impact, at least with me.
