What Members Thought

I don't feel like any review can do this book or this series justice. I am in awe of the beautiful world the author created and her take on beloved fairy tale characters that makes it come to life in a mix of sci-fi, fantasy, and romance. This series will hold a special place in my heart and will always be in my favorites. I highly recommend these books!

I am still processing this and writing what is probably my best review ever and for the first time maybe actually makes sense?
It's coming soon and I promise you will get to read it!

I’ve finally finished this book and I honestly feel kinda disappointed. I mean the book was pretty long and I found myself losing interest in some parts. The ending was SOO GOOD though and I’m glad the characters got a happy ending. Over all I LOVE this series and I’m glad I read it! It’s one of my favorites now.

3.5 stars.
Honestly, I wish that this book, the end of the lunar Chronicles series, was a bit better than it actually was. Meyer wraps up all the major storylines here and mostly satisfactorily but this book really should have been two instead of the one that is. I understand the desire of the author to tell four love stories, each based on a different fairytale, but the concept gets in the way of the story here. Winter, stepdaughter of queen Levana and her loyal guard are meant to be the center ...more

I enjoyed the series more than I thought I would. All the heroine's were strong and smart and all the "romance" was quirky and fun, not sappy. The characters are wonderful and I enjoyed the story line.

This book was a roller coaster of emotions (sorry Catriona, I stole your line). It was such an amazing ending. As far as I know and have experienced, endings are the hardest part to write, because they have to be perfect. I've seen many books that have accomplished that and a lot more that have failed at it. And most of them are series/trilogies conclusions. I really loved ( almost) every single one of the main characters, I even got to like Levana. She was so well developed and I liked that we

Well, everything happens in this book! EVERYTHING
I was a bit skeptical on how this was going to pull off.
Winter and Jacin are supposed to be the main couple around here, but there's too much going on.
Winter is first introduced in Fairest (Levana story) when she's born and up until her father dies.
Jacin is introduced early in the series but better known in Cress when he betrays Cinder's group to return to Luna.
