My very first Scott Sigler book (thanks Grammar Girl for the recommendation)! Kind of grossed me out but I decided to try one more, the next in the series, Contagious, and then I was totally hooked!

Infected is an amazing book. It is a thriller/horror that will make you skin crawl.
It is written from a few different people's perspectives, and is easy to read in that sense.
While reading this you'll think about how easily a new virus, or parasite could take over the world.

Totally dug this series, highly recommend.
Just did a relisten to the podcast for Infected, I loved it as much this time around as I did ten years ago. Scott just kills it with this book, love all the sci Fi horror goodness.
Very inventive, and very dark. His characters are always engaging, and this is no exception. If you're a fan of the Sci-Fi/Horror crossover, this is a great trilogy.
