What Members Thought
I don't understand all of the negative reviews of this series, or this book in particular! I LOVE this series and this book is everything I expect to read. Anita is a succubus but she's also a very powerful panwere among other things. Of course there's sex and lots of it! I get people are annoyed about the fact that the author, LKH, basically wrote the character, Anita Blake, so obviously bout herself. Or who she wishes she could be, but honestly who doesn't do that? Okay.. I got over the fact that she went from Bad Biaa..to Trixie Triumphant.. but I got over it because she was such a Pimp.. I mean she had everybody.. and they only had her.. who could argue with that right.. Well... I don't feel that way anymore. It wasn't a bad read, nice to get back to a mystery that wasn't totally about her love life, nice to see Richards' character growing into something that wasn't "so" annoying.
