What Members Thought
I enjoyed this one at least as much as the previous books in the series, but there were alot of new characters to try to keep up with. I found it a bit confusing. I am always looking for more Jason and was briefly satisfied in Danse Macabre. I did not find this book boring even though there was no police case or zombie raising aspect. I find the cerebral intensity just as interesting as the physical action for the most part. Looking forward to the next one, moving right along.
This was another book that had a loose plot line to support a story of all of her sex. Also, the ending was loosely wrapped up in one page and attempted to tie back into the problems she was facing at the beginning of the book. Don't get me wrong, I like the racy scenes, but the story-line was second to the sex. I am hoping the series eventually turns back around to focus on her raising the dead and solving preternatural crimes. All of this focus on the ardeur is starting to get old.
