This is one of my favs out of the Anita Blake series. I am listening to audiobook version and I'm amazed at some of the stuff I zoomed past the first time I read it. I am glad to be re-reading it because it is just as fantastic as the first time. I love to hear about Edward - I needed a break from pity me Richard.......never from Jeab-Claude, but I will deal.

Great book, however; there was too much info, I found myself trying to skim over serveral sentencs. I loved the fact the Edward/Ted was the center of this book.
Out of the whole Anita Blake series, this one is my least favourite. I swear it went on forever... Plus I missed some Jean-Claude, Anita alone time, or even just some Jean-Claude. On one hand it was interesting to find out about Edward, on the other I loved the way he was so mysterious and different from any other character and now the mystery is no longer. This is the tamest book in the series, so I'm sure all those Anita Blake sex hate "ex-fans" will love this one. Yawn!

Action packed and hilarious as usual, but especially hand ringing toward the end! So awesome to finally get to know Edward better, but also anxious to get back to Jean-Claude and Richard. This book got me excited about the series again and I already downloaded the next two!
