I love Anita. Like I want to be one of her 'sweeties'. Seriously though, this book seemed different because there wasn't so much sex in it. I liked that there was a story and she was back in fighting mode. I mean it was good to see the usual cast of characters, and great to see Micah's family. I also liked getting to know Nicky better, seeing that even the strongest of the crew had doubts, and fears.
There were parts that made me sad, parts where I laughed out loud, others where I had a huge gri

I love Anita, but I really need a Jean Claude dedicated book soon. This was not bad, and I like that the sex has been much reduced again for more story. But I do. miss my favorite Vamp.

I spent forever trying not to finish this book, because Hamilton is such an amazing writer. Overs 500 pages, and the book still felt too short. I loved the plot - and the lack of new lovers. It was kick-ass
