I was expecting --- more.
The story was interesting but also cluttered and confusing. I thought connecting the dots would be fun, as Poirot explained the plot. Instead, I found myself confounded by some of his leaps of logic.
I'm not sure this particular series is right for me.

This cleverly written mystery full of twists and turns is the world's introduction to the eccentric Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. It’s hard to believe it was first published almost a hundred years ago and even harder to believe it's a first novel. AC was masterful in the way she managed to shift the cloud of suspicion among a large cast of characters and even slip in a little sly humor here and there.
