Matt picked this up during our latest trip to Barnes & Noble, since, of course, he loves both dragons and tacos. He really embodies the illustration on the cover. It was a fun book, but it seemed to drag on longer than necessary, repeating some things a few times when once was sufficient. It explained how dragons love tacos, and the toppings they like, but they don't like hot spicy salsa - only mild salsa will do (the latter of which was repeated three times. I get it.) Who knew that dragons love tacos so much?! Dragons love all kinds of tacos but it turns out that spicy toppings should be completely avoided. Spicy toppings cause dragons to breathe fire and as our young hero discovers, they could accidentally burn down your house.
A perfect, fun read aloud for grades 1 - 3. Recommended for taco lovers everywhere. I do wish, however, that vegetarian tacos were included in the list of kinds of tacos that dragons love.

Humorous. I can see young kids enjoying it. The plot was just a bit all over the place for me. Although the ending was pretty cute.
Vibrant illustrations and a fantastical story of taco loving dragons. Young children will enjoy the silly story line and the eye catching drawings. Fun stuff! Don’t read on an empty stomach.
