[close] I made it through Snow Crash, which I've always wanted to read. It was intriguing that characters existed in two places at once- Reality and the Metaverse (virtual reality). A futuristic world, post America, was interesting, too. The plot jumped around so much, with many different characters and circumstance, that after a while it became confusing.

I'm sure I liked Stephenson's Baroque Cycle books better.
