I think living in a big city and reading this mystery set in a small town was the downfall for me. Being able to locate the only seller/user of a pink lipstick? You gotta be kidding! And having a lay person doing most of the investigation was too farfetched for me too. I like whodunits so I finished it, but I don't plan on reading any more in this series. ...more
