'Insurgent' had me hooked from the very first page. It starts where 'Divergent' ended, so it was easy to get right back into it.
There were times when I would get confused as to which supporting characters were which, or why they were in a certain place. But I attribute that to my ADD at times, haha.
Tris is still as awesome as ever. Her ability to think through the most nerve-wracking of situations is something to be admired. And, Tobias, swoon. Though they did get into quite a few, should we s ...more

I borrowed this from the library as a two-week download, and that deadline is probably the only reason I kept reading. If I owned it, I would have put it aside to try again later.

WOW! Insurgent was amazing! I enjoyed Divergent as well but this second installment in the series had much more suspense and intrigue than the first volume. I was pleased to see character growth for both Tris' and Tobias' characters. Tris wasn't a favorite of mine but I feel I have come to like her more in this storyline. The ending of Divergent was one of the best cliff hangers EVER! Can't wait to see what the final volume delivers.

Amazing. I'm almost wishing this book wasn't as good as it was because I have to wait way too long for the next one. Roth is such a great author and really makes you feel for all the characters. Even they are doing something stupid, I still love them and hope that everything works out for them. So glad I came across this series!
