What Members Thought

After reading and loving Eragon and Eldest, this was a huge disapointment. I only got about half-way through before I put it back on the shelf. I was bored with it long before I stopped reading, but held on to the hope that it would pick up the pace and become worthy to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors. No such luck.

I thought that the ending was very strange until I recently realized I didn't read the last book. Now I feel much better about a weird ending to a trilogy.
I liked this book fine. I liked the story and although at times it seemed to drag a little I enjoyed it overall.

I think as this series goes on, it gets better and better. I only gave it three stars though because the whole dwarf section (which was quite long) was so boring. I loved the beginning and the end of this book (especially the end) but the middle part with the dwarfs and Roran disobeying all his commanders almost made me stop reading. I'm excited to read the last one.
