Before I Fall is the story of mean girl Sam Kingston who lives the final day of her live over again for 7 days. Each day shows her growing and becoming a better person. I didn't like Sam's character at all when the story began but by the end of the story I had grown to admire the person she had grown into. Sam begins making better choices and also comes to appreciate all the good things that she has in her life. The ending was sad but showed what a truly selfless person Sam had become. ...more

Shelves: made-into-a-movie, forever-ya

This was a really interesting book. The concept intrigued me and I think it was executed well.

Sam is a mean girl. You definitely hate her and her friends in the beginning of the book. Then she dies (not a spoiler since that's the whole premise of the book lol). Only after she dies, she wakes up and has to relive the day she dies. She does this many times trying to figure out a way to save herself and others and along the way learning about herself and growing into a character you no longer hate ...more
