Literally just spent the last couple of hours in a huge "what the f" moment. I've been waiting years to read this book, and now that I've finished it, I can probably convince myself to watch the movie! (I'm one of those haters who abhor watching a movie before reading the book). Buuut, I think I'll finish reading the series first.

I was skeptical at first, but I'm far too intrigued to put the series down now. Hopefully it'll only get better :)

It took a while to get into the story, then it started to feel like it was just dragging on. I appreciate the story structure created by author that allows the story to be told but still hasn't revealed the true situation. I am interested in the relationship between Thomas and Teresa and the roles of Newt & Minho moving forward. I am also curious about the reasoning behind only boys in the Glades. This is definitely not as enjoyable as The Hunger Games or Divergent, but I am intrigued enough to

I'm not impressed with the introductory chapters. I listened to the first couple of chapters and switched to another audio book. I may go back to this one to try and explore the world it's set in, but the writing style is not something I'm particularly enjoying.

I dont know why but I just could not get into this book. I know that everyone compares it to Hunger Games but I just didn't see it.
The characters weren't all that likeable. The scenario that sets up this alternate world didn't make a lot of sense to me.
