What Members Thought
I think when rating books it's more fun to rate them against other examples of the same type of book. Am I saying this novel is the equivalent of one of the fantastic works of literary fiction I've read this year? No, not really. But is it pretty darn good for a fantasy romance with all the expected tropes of that genre? Absolutely. Did I have fun reading it? Sure did. Have I already started book 2? Indeed. I can know a thing is a cliche and still enjoy it. And this made me feel happy inside! So

A Court of Thorn and Roses was a delicious quick read! The first few chapters immediately captured my interests to continue. I didn’t want to put the book down. The moment I was introduced to Rhysand at Calanmai, I knew things where going to get interesting. Feyre has grown so much in this first book. She is strong, smart, and brave!

I wanted to keep going with this no matter how many times I had to put it on hold, but never mind. It was never really something I wanted to read so why make myself stick with it.
