I can't rate this. Hailed as 'my favourite book of all time' for the past 13 years, Frankenstein has become more and more enigmatic to me as the years have gone on. Reading this book every 13 years of my life will be a challenge - this 2nd time alone provided a lot of disappointment & confusion. Still, this book had a major impact on my reading and self, and I'm excited to use it as a point of reflection throughout my years. meh
I just can't get through it. I am having a big problem with the way Frankenstein just abandoned his monster, and I'm not curious enough to find out if he ever becomes truly repentant.

i got through the 4 letters and thought it was ok, went through half of chapter 1 and fell asleep. I might revisit this but i have better books on my tbr shelf.
