My husband and I are both huge fans of this story-- for the second year in a row we've gone to a theatrical production of it in Minneapolis right after Thanksgiving-- and for years we've included a movie version or two of this classic tale in our holiday celebrations.

But, this is the first year where I sat down and read the story cover to cover..and I went with this illustrated version by PJ Lynch--beautifully done!
