What Members Thought
Tried to read this a second time (7/19/2022) to see if I could understand it better. Could not get very far. Last time I listened to it on audio. This time I tried reading it and listening at the same time. I just don't understand how this book is considered a classic. It should have been scrapped. I read it once, I'm not going to put myself through it again.

I think that when (not if) I read this again I will change my rating to five stars as it was probably a mistake diving into it not knowing what to expect. Nevertheless I still found Ulysses to be a brilliant read, something like a drug: you know it's bad for you but you can't help getting dragged in deeper and deeper and coming back for more.

If you're finding yourself so listless, and bored with your 1001 reads; this is certainly a colorful change of pace. Make sure to read with an open mind.
