Meh, it was ok.
I enjoyed reading about half of it and I was pretty shocked at some points, but it's not something I'd recommend.

This was a nice collection of Kafka's short stories. Some I really liked a lot and wanted to rate 5 stars and some I thought were well written but not quite as engaging for me and I wanted to give those stories 3 stars. So I averaged my rating to 4 stars.

The highlight of the book is The Metamorphosis, the (in)famous story about a man who wakes up one day to find that he has turned into a cockroach. This story is certainly worth reading as the underlying themes are still prevalent in our society

Crazy idea, a man who wakes up and finds himself converted into a bug. His life and family relationship changes completely. Thanks to the good description of thoughts and situations I could picture in my mind everything written in the book. Perhaps this is what happens when someone is severely ill or different to the rest.
