Meh, it was ok.
I enjoyed reading about half of it and I was pretty shocked at some points, but it's not something I'd recommend. ...more

This was a nice collection of Kafka's short stories. Some I really liked a lot and wanted to rate 5 stars and some I thought were well written but not quite as engaging for me and I wanted to give those stories 3 stars. So I averaged my rating to 4 stars.

This book is very sad. And although I can appreciate a sad book this one just didn't jive with me.

Crazy idea, a man who wakes up and finds himself converted into a bug. His life and family relationship changes completely. Thanks to the good description of thoughts and situations I could picture in my mind everything written in the book. Perhaps this is what happens when someone is severely ill or different to the rest.
