What Members Thought
Very slow burning novel filled with subtle and not so subtle jabs at the various characters who roam the pages of this classic by Jane Austen. Her use of language always has a calming effect on ones nerves, it takes some settling at first but once you are sucked in her world, your worries slowly glide away. Despite being almost 200 years old, reading Persuasion continues to be soothing experience. If that's not the sign of a true classic, I don't know what is.
