Yes...Yes...and Yes!!!
Now that is how your start a series. I seriously applaud Marie Lu for what she did in this book. Let's get into my thoughts.
1. The character development is off the charts in this series. June and Day are really intelligent, flawed characters whom are multi-faceted. Their backstories are explored flawlessly.
2. The world building was lacking a lot, but the plot made up for it like crazy.

Amazing book! Definitely one of my favorite dystopians I've read! Can't wait to continue on with the series! 5 out of 5!
