This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series. Marisa Meyer has managed to surpass the greatness of Cinder with Scarlet. These books just keep getting better.

Cinder's tale continues and we are introduced to Scarlet, a delivery girl living on a farm with her ex-military grandmother. That's right - Red Riding Hood has entered the story. When Scarlet's grandmother goes missing, she is set on tracking her down. When she meets Wolf, he agrees to help her. Wolf obviously knows more than he's tel ...more

I can't even decide whether I liked Scarlet better than Cinder or not - they're both just so excellent. I think in some ways I may even prefer Scarlet.

Anyway, this was largely pretty brilliant (my only quibble, which is the reason for this getting four stars and not five, has to do with Wolf, but I don't want to spoil anything and I'm too lazy to use spoiler tags). I can't wait for the next book - just wish it was released sooner! ...more
