I'm really looking forward to reading (listening to) Dragon Republic but man, this book. I like dark but this is Dark. The author worked very hard to justify Rin's arc and I can't tell if it wasn't enough or if my great disappointment in Rin's life choices is evidence that it was.

Really enjoyed the book.
