I'm officially giving myself permission to not finish this book. I'm only a few chapters in, but I've read it two or three times already, albeit more than ten years ago. I just can't do it one more time.
I'm not saying "Dune" is bad. I think it's an excellent choice for the Science Fiction and Fantasy group. I'm about to finish reading Dune. For some reason, perhaps because of it's length or varied lexicon, I felt that it would take me a lot longer to finish than just a week, but it was totally immersive and couldn't put it down. A book so good, I've done little else during downtime.
